Harold was born in Lynn, MA, during the Spanish Flu pandemic. He was infected as a baby, and nurses there believed he had died, so they covered his little body with a sheet. But a while later, a nurse noticed movement under the sheet. He was uncovered, saved by wiggling his fingers. He went on to live a long, productive, and healthy life.
